The Danish window industry's technical regulations

These Technical Regulations for manufacturing windows and exterior doors were designed by VinduesIndustrien as an industry standard to ensure consumers a product where a number of minimum requirements for good quality are met.

The regulations describe and specify a number of requirements for the company’s organisation, product information, production facilities, quality assurance, materials and execution, as well as performance requirements for the finished product. The regulations also contain rules for certification of the products. The notes should be considered guidelines.

Therefore the purpose of the regulations is to ensure that the product that leaves the company has high standards in materials and workmanship, that it as a minimum corresponds to the requirements in these Technical Regulations and the company’s own publicity and product labelling.

This edition of the regulations has been approved by the Danish window industry's Technical Committee in July 2010.

The use of the Technical Regulations for certification or control is only allowed through written agreement with the Danish window industry.
